Abalus Baltic Porter aged in Cognac Barrels, presented in 750ml sharing bottles, 11.5% abv

Baltic Porter is the Baltic region’s interpretation of Imperial Stout using substitute ingredients that were locally available and brewed at low temperatures with lager yeast. The result of this approach is a strong and full-bodied but very drinkable porter. Six months of maturation in the finest French Cognac oak casks have added multiple layers of flavour and complexity. These beers may be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 10 years, during which time the flavours will continue to evolve. Only 500 bottles of this Abalus Baltic Porter were produced. Their first limited release was in 2020.
