Spéartha Dorcha Oyster Stout, 4.7% abv

79.00 per case

Brewed with water from our spring on the slopes of Croagh Patrick, using traditional stout malts, restrained hopping, and Clew Bay oysters in the boil, and then fermented with Belgian yeast. Spéartha Dorcha Oyster Stout is dark ruby in colour, medium bodied, with notes of malt, chocolate, coffee, plum and prune on the nose and palate, and a hint of the sea. Long and balanced finish with a subtle minerality and a touch of bitterness at the end.

We love the collaboration in this beer. We use oysters grown at Croagh Patrick Seafoods by Pádraic Gannon and his family. We highly recommend going on one of their Oyster Farm Tours when you’re next in the area. You can taste some of their seafood fresh out of the bay at the end of tour, washed down with a nice cold Mescan.
